Like, I've seen some 'music creators who happened to use Vocaloid for one song' (as opposed to existing fans/ppl who already knew/were part of the community) that sounded cool (although in their case i think they'd still choose the voice based on what sounds the most pleasing to them or which layout seems easy to use/whichever is the best 'deal' if they spend money/have a limited budget to where they wouldn't necessarily wanna drop money on 3-4 VBs.
Like, 'i wanna make a good vocaloid song' versus 'vocaloid is popular so if i use this for a song instead of singing myself/having someone human sing, it'll be better'Īlthough nothing wrong with 'non-fans' making songs too. (Gogotea has some nice relatable sad ones too) IDK how good an amateur/beginner would be at using her, but like I and a couple other ppl have said, it seems like if they're doing it based on the 'popularity' of a voicebank, I have doubts about the quality (Una's not exactly unknown but ppl would prolly be more likely to click 'miku song' versus 'una song' lol). Yeah, Beast Dance is good/some of her demos are catchy but that's 'cause they're also done by experienced composers.
